Poultry includes meats like: turkey, goose, fowl, quail, pheasant, chicken and duck (the latter two options have their own categories due to the amount of products using these proteins).

Poultry is a lean meat which means it's healthier and easier to digest than fatty red meats. It's also full of protein, low in fat, and rich in essential amino acids and omega-3 fatty acids which makes it an essential staple in a dogs diet. Poultry also includes minerals such as: phosphorus, selenium, iron and zinc making it a great option if your dog has red meat intolerances.
